Job Summary | The Clinical Case Manager is part of the multidisciplinary, integrated Rensselaer Student Health team of committed professionals dedicated to supporting and promoting student health and wellbeing as an Institute-wide priority. Residential Case Manager
Our Residential Case Manager will work out of our Albany, NY campus and will be responsible for supporting clients in the Residential System while performing duties in collaboration with a clinician.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arrange and attend home visits
- Prepare transition plans
- Coordinate Independent Living Services
- Act as the primary contact between Schools and Residential
- Coach family visits
- Complete various assessments, including FASP and SPR
- Complete accurate case notes and timely input the notes into Connections database
- Provide transportation for clients
- Maintain contact with DSS and family
- Function as a contributing member of the interdisciplinary treatment team
- Attend dorm meetings
- Attend treatment review meetings
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a Bachelors degree or commensurate level of education and related experience.
Experience with individuals in care systems preferred.
Drivers license is required for this position.
Work requires 25 50% community travel/visits.

As a Residential Youth Counselor, you will provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to agency policy and governing bodies' (DSS, OMH, JCAHO, etc.) requirements for elementary aged children.. You will work on-site on our Albany campus and will report to the Residential Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Provide for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including physical safety, hygiene, clothing, food, cooking, medical care, and providing a reliable and nurturing environment.
1:1 Residential Counselor
You will follow an individual youth’s 1:1 expectations plan, ICMP, and any safety plans in place.
Engage the youth in activities and conversation that are age appropriate and at the appropriate developmental level.
Document in writing a summary of each shift.
Learn the history and specific issues associated with the youth who requires 1:1; will learn how to safely manage any crisis.
Seek and obtain training in any particular area specific to the youth who requires 1:1care.
Transport 1:1 client for medical, mental health, and other essential needs.

You will must be able to work within trauma informed framework of program, including identifying and using coping/safety plans, maintaining consistency, providing regular routine, and controlling own response to youth.
Engage and form positive relationship with all youth served.
Complete all mandatory trainings according to programmatic guidelines.

Follow outlined program routines, therapeutic plans of youth, and program rules and protocols.

Job Summary | The Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks applications for a tenure-track (or tenured) faculty position at the Associate Professor level in Business Analytics/Supply Chain Management starting Fall 2024. Job Summary | The Director of Real Estate directs all activities associated with land management/leases; real estate revenue activities; building and land acquisition/sales; building and land appraisals; all Rensselaer property-related tax payments; Rensselaer tax exemption requirements; and special activities, that include leases and subleases of external facilities, fraternity/sorority land/building leases and finances; estate activities and community issues. The Director is responsible for leading real estate and economic development programs to attract diverse and innovative partners to engage on properties owned by the Institution both residential and commercial, inclusive of properties at Rensselaer Technology Park (RTP). This will comprise extensive collaboration with multiple portfolios including the Office of Strategic Alliances and Translation (OSAT), Provost, Student Life, OCEC, and Finance. The Director is responsible to develop programs to attract and maintain tenant occupants of RTP and create a self-funded real estate program. Programs that cultivate community and regional relationships and foster an exchange of ideas between community leaders, industry partners, researchers and students. The Director is responsible for all fiscal management of the RTP and real estate program including operating and capital budget development and financial controls to achieve goals. |

Job Summary | The Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute invites applications for a faculty position in Game Development to begin Fall 2024, to teach courses in game design, development, and production. Appointment will be at the rank of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Professor of Practice, with a multi-year, renewable contract. |
Minimum Qualifications | Applicants must possess an MFA, PhD, or foreign equivalent in Game Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Evidence of effective teaching, and the ability to demonstrate, through accomplishment, promise of academic, scholarly and/or research achievement. They will demonstrate proficiency in one or more game engines, along with a robust background in project management and production processes within the gaming industry. Additionally, candidates must exhibit a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. For appointment at the rank of Senior Lecturer, candidates must also have attained a significant level of scholarly activity, research output, or individual creative practice. A Professor of Practice has obtained unique professional experience, has distinguished research, and/or has performed at an executive or officer level, and has made a significant impact within the field of games. Job Summary | The Economic and Industry Analyst will analyze and make recommendations for progress of the sustainable fashion industry, from farms and new materials to processing to brands and design, in New York State and in general (in the U.S. and worldwide). The Analyst will review and keep abreast of pertinent studies and research, and will seek information from industry data sources, carry out interviews and surveys, and analyze and interpret the information. The work is based at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as part of the Fashion Innovation Center (FIC). The Analyst will interact with FIC members and participants to learn about the industry, discuss sustainable fashion industry problems and potential solutions, consider ways to advance the industry in New York State, and document relevant information and findings in report, paper, and/or book form. As a Children's Health Home Care Manager, you will engage youth and families through outreach activities until enrollment into the Children's Health Home program. You will coordinate and monitor subsequent services to meet the needs of your members. You will report to a program supervisor, working in a hybrid model. Work will involve a combination of remote, office, and community-based settings. Local travel and personal transportation is required.
Responsibilities:
- Level I - Provides care management services to children with low and medium acuities. Care Manager will provide the required one or two services each month based on acuity and need. One of these contacts is to be in-person with the member.
- Level II - Provides care management services to low, medium, and high acuity members. Care Manager will provide a minimum of two services each month, one of which is to be in person with the member.
- Engage children, youth, and families with outreach and enrollment activities for successful enrollment into a children's health home
- Gather and complete assessments and enter documentation that confirms eligibility and acuity, identifying both strengths and areas of need
- Work w/children, youth, families, and service providers to create a comprehensive Plan of Care
- Identify and engage additional providers (e.g. natural supports, parent advocates, primary care physicians) with youth and families for the execution and continuation of the Plan of Care
- Convene and conduct Interdisciplinary team meetings to review Plan of Care; identifying progress, continued needs, and confirming ongoing eligibility
- Document progress and arrange for transitions between systems, placements, and higher levels of care following changes in eligibility and acuity.
- Use NY State and Health Home information systems to input required Health Home documentation
- Comply with Medicaid and program billing regulations
- Complete all required and recommended trainings
Requirements and Education:
- Level 1 - Requires an Associate's degree in Social Work or a related field, with 2 to 5 years of experience providing direct services to children, persons diagnosed with mental disabilities, developmental disabilities, or substance abuse.

As a Science Teacher, you will develop and implement Science classroom instructional plans for students. You will provide subject area instruction (Science) that follow the NYS K-12 Science Curricula and prepare students for exit examinations and statewide assessments. You will report to the Assistant principal and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement science instructional materials to provide individual and small group instruction to students of various ability levels, and at the high school level develop, teach, and assess laboratory experiences for Earth Science, Living Environment, and/or Environmental Science.
- Develop and implement classroom instructional plans with the Special Education Teachers that integrates the student's IEP goals and objectives, learning styles, and accommodations and modifications that are needed.

- Follow school and agency procedures and policies for reporting incidents. This includes behavior incident reports (IR) and incidents such as child/sexual abuse, substance abuse, harassment, bullying, and violence.
- Establish relationships with parents and family members to create a partnership around student treatment, student behavior, and academic progress.
- Participate in classroom grade level, and behavior/treatment meetings and professional training and development sessions (e.g. TCI, CPR, emergency procedures and other agency requirements).
- Follow all Agency policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations pertaining to our school and students.
- Provide leadership to assigned teacher assistants in the various clerical and non-instructional duties for your classroom.

- Budgeting: Prepares a fiscal year budget in partnership with the Office of the VP for College Relations. Reviews and approves expenditures, consulting with Finance and other authorities as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in higher education advancement, with a strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices, or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. An Advanced degree in information management, data science, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in system administration, networking, relational databases, programming, and documentation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Preferred expertise with Ellucian by Colleague and Salesforce technology, preferably including experience with CRM migration projects.
- Exceptional leadership, judgment, and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to introduce and drive innovation in ways large and small through effective project management.
- Able to foster and enhance a thriving, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community, while promoting a sense of belonging among students, alumni, faculty, and staff colleagues.
- Dedication to philanthropic support of higher education and alignment with the values and mission of the institution.
- Proactive approach to identifying and pursuing relevant learning and professional development opportunities to enhance organizational outcomes.

Compensation
The annual salary range this position is $100,000 - $115,000. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
